Greek history has a story about Pandora's Box
that has a twist often ignored!

She possesed a box that contained all the evils of the world.
One day she opened the box, allowing them to escape!
She managed though, to slam the lid shut before "hope" was released.

It seems that the ancient Greeks identified HOPE as an evil,
believing in a current existance rather than a hopeful one.
