He should be smiling...
Rick Bartolucci
Minister of Northern Mines and Development
(until the next election...)

Boy, can you ever tell there is an election coming!

In the last few months, this man has been cutting cheques
like is wasn't his own money. Oh! that's right. It isn't!

Strategic cheque-cutting has pretty well guaranteed
he will be elected this coming fall.

Science North,
Laurentian University,
Cambrian College,
College Boreal,
the Sudbury Regional Hospital,
The Sisters of Saint Joseph,
CVRD-INCO,
and more...

Millions of dollars for research, wide screens,
and elite facilities.
(oops, words out of order)
Facilities for the elite.
(that's better)

I mean, after you get these groups on your side,
who's left?

Just seniors, the poor, disabled,
and the one-in-six kids who go to bed hungry...

Greater Sudbury has 60% or 50,000 of it's work force
making less than $10/hour.

13,800 people use the food banks each month
and there is an exploding homeless population.

So, when this man comes to town and hands Science North,
a glorified amusement park, millions of dollars,
including $90,000 for a wide sceen tv,
I get mad.

And when this man comes to town and hands Laurentian U.
$9 million dollars for mining research,
(as if we don't know how to do it by now),
I get mad.

You can't eat an IMAX film and L.U.'s 9 mil
would have meant free transit for all of Sudbury
for one whole year!

This town is falling apart from the inside out
and the bottom line for funding...

Who you know and who you blow!!!

The level of PERKS, PALS, and POLITICS in Sudbury
has achieved a level that can only be described
with one word

Bullshit!

There is an election coming and questions need to be asked!

And, since the Supreme Court of Ontario ruled that
politicians can't be held accountable for election promises,
can he even be believed?

Outrage has a short fuse
but it also has a short memory

for now...

more to come
