Multi-Channel Television Junk Mail
If you watch any TV at all you have been bombarded
by, what I call "the big four".
GreyPower, ING Direct, Premier Baths and
the CHIP Home Income Plan have all adopted
advertising campaigns that are running on all
lower channels and some speciality ones.
Over and over and over and over and over again
and again and again and again and again...
You get my point!
If you think the same way, call em!
Every ad ends with a phone number or a web site address.
You have to get by the call center level
and that in itself can be a challenge...
Ask for the toll free customer relations number.
Or, go one the web and look for the contact icon.
Either way, the more people that make the calls,
the sooner they will be gone (maybe).
Sometimes I think these companies really don't care
if they annoy most people getting their base market capture.
It's the television version of junk mail.
All they need is a few to make money and the rest,
well, it just gets tossed.(filling our land fills...)
Unforunately, you can't throw the tv out and,
no matter what you do, they remain "in your face".
It's a lousy way to advertise and they should know better!
Their technique is based on one simple premise.
I'm Canadian. I'm not gay.
I'm just so nice, it seems that way.
They should remember...
Outrage has a short fuse.
It's just to bad,
it has such a short memory
for now...
